Van Dam 620 full remanufacturering
The Van Dam model 620 (later 688) 8 color cup printer was delivered with a brand new electrical installation including new PLC, software, motor drives control cabinet, wiring sensors, etc.

Our Approach
Infeed
The original Van Dam elevator feeder is fully stripped, freshly spray-painted and rebuilt again. All bearings, chains and chain-guides are replaced and upgraded where possible. A new PVC-tube and the electrical system and wiring are replaced with NEW and upgraded with today’s technology. Pneumatic parts like valves and cylinders are replaced by upgraded components for improved performance.
Handling
The cam of the indexing system are replaced where needed. A new gas pre-treatment system is installed. New UV drying system with 6kW (electronically adjustable). The cooling system is computer controlled with temperature feedback. New PLC-controlled belt take-off system adjustable in size as well speed. New mandrel drive system. Remanufactured PLC controlled outfeed system. New buffer table,
Print unit
The print-unit section consists of a central offset cylinder with 4 blankets (rubber). There are 8 colourheads (Van Dam 620-688-CM608 Type) mounted around the offset cylinder. The offset cylinder got a NEW surface and is brought back to original condition and specifications. The tolerance is max. 0,02 mm plus / minus deviation.
Colourheads
The original Van Dam colourheads are fully stripped, freshly reworked and rebuilt. All rubber rollers are rerubbered. Pneumatic parts are replaced by upgraded components for improved performance. All bearings are replaced. The colourheads are brought back to original specifications to fit Van Dam spare parts like rollers and ink knives.
Operating panel
The existing system is with a new Siemens S7 touch panel including ’DUPATECH COM Operating Software’.
General
All electrical systems and wiring are upgraded with today’s technology, future proof.
